As part of its participation in the 16th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (COP16), King Salman Park Foundation presented its innovative vision for building a global model for sustainable urban communities.

The foundation also organized a panel discussion titled “The Connection Between Nature and Urban Fabric in Global Cities,” led by sustainability experts, with the participation of Engineer Yazid Al-Johaymi, Landscape Director of King Salman Park Project, and sustainability expert Anna Habibi. The session discussed the importance of blending nature and innovation to enhance sustainability in cities, showcasing practical examples from the King Salman Park project as a model to follow.
During the conference, the foundation presented its integrated vision for the future of sustainable cities, highlighting projects aimed at enhancing biodiversity through vast green spaces that integrate with Riyadh’s environment.
