German President Visits King Salman Park in Riyadh

His Excellency Federal President of the Republic of Germany Dr. Frank-Walter Steinmeier visited King Salman Park in the capital, Riyadh, this morning. He was accompanied by H.E. Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al Qasabi. Minister of Commerce, and HRH Abdullah bin Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ Ambassador to the Federal Republic of Germany.

Upon his arrival, His Excellency was received by H.E. Engr. Ibrahim Al-Sultan, Minister of State, Member of the Council of Ministers, Board Member of King Salman Park Foundation, and Chairman of the Executive Committee, along with Mr. George Tanasijevich, CEO of King Salman Park Foundation.

At the Visitor Pavilion, a signature landmark of King Salman Park, the delegation was presented with an engaging showcase outlining the project's vision and ongoing development phases. From the Sky Pavilion’s panoramic vantage point, His Excellency observed the park’s transformation and received an in-depth briefing on the foundation’s mission to redefine urban landscapes by seamlessly integrating green spaces into the fabric of future cities.

King Salman Park is one of the world's most ambitious and transformative urban regeneration projects, harmoniously bringing together community and nature. As a green oasis at the heart of Riyadh, the Park aligns with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, fostering a vibrant, healthy, and sustainable society. It also reinforces Riyadh’s global stature, positioning it as one of the world’s most livable cities.
